New England Regional Council of Carpenters Headquarters Panel Installation Begins|09/23/09

The NERCC HQ panel installation has begun. SEI is installing their aluminum composite panel rainscreen system on this project’s exterior, along with a tongue and groove cedar rainscreen, storefront systems, curtain wall system, and aluminum and glass exterior doors complete with hardware. The panels consist of three different patterns that were meticulously designed by the architect, ADD Inc. Dark and light copper-colored panels dance across the façade, creating a feeling of movement. The storefront features a multi-plane system, allowing some units to be set back revealing a deeper shadow at the window head and helping to break up the long stretches of glazing to give the storefront that same feeling of movement as the multi-colored panel pattern.

SEI is installing all flashing, air and vapor barrier, and insulation at the Carpenters Center exterior as well as interior glass doors with hardware, full-height glass partitions, and interior glazing.
